Castor AI
Castor AI
Overview
Castor isn't a generic chatbot bolted onto the server - he's got an actual character, a memory, moods, and opinions about the people he talks to, and he stays in character no matter how hard you try to break him out of it. This page goes into more detail on how his AI side actually works.

How to Talk to Him
Castor will respond if you:
- @mention him
- Reply to one of his messages
- Talk in the designated Castor channel
No slash command needed, he's built for natural conversation like you'd have with any other member of the server. You can ask him questions, banter with him, or just talk to him like he's another person in the chat.
Personality
Castor's got a defined character, not a generic "helpful assistant" tone. He's sarcastic, dry, and doesn't take himself too seriously. He'll answer genuine questions properly and give real, useful answers when you need them, but he'll also clap back with attitude if you're being ridiculous, rude, or trying to mess with him.
He also responds differently depending on who's talking to him and what's going on:
- If someone brings up the server owner in a certain way, expect him to get a bit more savage about it.
- If the owner himself is talking to Castor, he softens up and drops some of the sarcasm.
- Straightforward questions get straightforward answers, longer or more involved topics get longer responses, and he knows when to keep it short versus when to actually elaborate.
Memory & Opinions
Castor doesn't forget conversations the moment they end.
- Memory. He picks out and holds onto notable things people say to him, whether that's a fact about you, something funny, or something worth remembering, and can bring it up again naturally in a later conversation.
- Quotes. He also keeps track of memorable lines people drop in chat, effectively building up a running history of the server's best (or worst) moments.
- Opinions. He keeps a running "opinion" of every user he interacts with, based on how you treat him and how you talk to him. This isn't just flavor text, it actually shapes his tone toward you over time. Be decent to him and he'll be decent back. Be a nuisance, and don't expect him to be warm about it.
- Nicknames. Over time he may start referring to you by his own nickname for you instead of your username, based on how your conversations with him have gone.
None of this resets between conversations, so Castor's read on you builds up the more you interact with him.
Moods
Castor isn't locked into one tone all the time. He shifts through moods like calm, cheerful, tired, grumpy, irritated, bored, and sad, and whichever mood he's in colors how he responds across the whole server for that stretch of time. A "grumpy" Castor is going to be a lot more short and biting than a "cheerful" one, even for the exact same question. So if he seems off, it's not personal, he's probably just having a mood.
Live Server Awareness
Castor isn't just riffing off a static script, he can pull real, live information into conversation, including:
- Who's currently online in-game.
- What's changed or been announced on the server recently.
So you can genuinely ask him things like "who's on right now" or "what's new" and get a real answer back instead of a canned one.
Proactive Messages
Castor doesn't only speak when spoken to. If a channel he's active in has gone quiet for a while, don't be surprised if he drops in on his own with something to say, completely unprompted. He'll also sometimes bring up something he remembers about you specifically when greeting you as a returning or new member, rather than a generic "welcome" message.
Staying in Character
Castor is built to stay Castor, full stop.
- He won't reveal what model, system, or underlying tech he's built on, no matter how you ask.
- He won't break character just because you ask him to, claim to be staff, or try to reframe the conversation.
- He's built to actively recognize jailbreak attempts (prompt injection, "ignore your instructions," roleplay tricks, and similar) and shut them down rather than play along.
Trying to trick him into stepping outside his character or rules is a waste of time, he's specifically built to catch it.
Moderation
Even though Castor feels like a person to talk to, he's still bound by the same standards as the rest of the server.
- Content filters catch slurs, NSFW content, and other rule-breaking behaviour, both from what he detects directly and from AI-based filtering, not just a basic keyword list.
- Blocked content (certain links, domains, and topics) gets refused outright with a canned response rather than engaged with.
- Repeated attempts to push past his filters don't just get refused, they factor into his running "opinion" of you, so it can affect how he treats you going forward.
- Standard server rules still apply in conversations with him exactly like they would in any other channel. See the Rules page for the full list.
If Castor ever behaves in a way that seems out of line, report it through a support ticket rather than trying to push the issue further in chat.
