Sit down. Right-click a stair or slab and take a seat, no command needed.

How to Sit

Right-click a bottom-half stair or bottom-half slab with an empty hand (both hands need to be empty) to sit on it. A few things need to be true first:

• You can't be sneaking when you click, sneak + right-click won't sit you down.
• There can't be a solid block directly above the seat.
• The spot can't already be taken by someone else.
• You can't already be riding something else.

Upside-down stairs, top slabs, and double slabs don't count, only the normal bottom-half versions work.

Getting Up

Dismount like you would from any vehicle and you'll pop back up to standing height automatically.

You'll also automatically get up if:

• The block you're sitting on gets broken.
• You disconnect from the server.

A Few Notes

• Available to everyone, no permission or rank required.
• There's no cooldown, sit and stand as much as you like.
• If a chair ever glitches out and leaves you stuck, standing up (or just breaking the block) will clear it.
