VortexReplant
VortexReplant
VortexReplant automatically replants your crops when you harvest them, and gives you two ways to speed up crop growth just by sneaking. No commands, no menus, it all just works passively while you farm.
Last updated August 2026.
Overview
VortexReplant covers 4 crop types: Wheat, Beetroots, Carrots, and Potatoes. Nothing else (no Nether Wart, melons, pumpkins, cocoa, or sweet berries) is affected by this system.
Auto-Replant
Break a fully grown crop and, as long as you're carrying at least one of that crop's seed, it'll automatically replant itself a half-second later, no need to manually re-sow it.
- Any tool (or bare hands) works, there's no special hoe requirement.
- You keep your normal harvest, replanting doesn't change what drops.
- Costs exactly 1 seed from your inventory per replant.
- Only triggers on fully grown crops, breaking an immature crop behaves normally with no auto-replant.
- If you're out of seeds, it just breaks like vanilla, no replant happens.
Growing Crops Faster
There are two ways to boost crop growth, both triggered just by sneaking, no items required in hand.
Hold Sneak
Simply sneak near your crops and, once per second, every eligible crop within roughly 7x7 blocks around you (and one layer above/below) gets a random growth boost. Keep sneaking and it keeps ticking.
Quick Crouch Toggle
Tap sneak and release it quickly (within a fraction of a second) for an instant burst instead of the slow hold. This grows crops in a smaller area immediately around you, in every direction, and has a short cooldown between uses so you can't spam it back to back.
Both methods:
- Boost a crop's growth stage by a random amount each time, not a flat +1, so results vary.
- Only affect crops that aren't already fully grown.
- Play a particle effect and sound on every crop that gets boosted, so you'll know it's working.
- Only affect crop types you have permission for.
A Few Notes
- This is entirely passive, there's nothing to type or open. Just farm and sneak like normal.
- If growth or replanting doesn't seem to be working for a specific crop, it's likely a permissions issue, ask staff to check.
