Getting There
Head to the shop NPC and right-click to open the Marketplace. There's no command to memorize, the NPC is your way in.
Want to sell instead? Use /sellgui (aliases: /sell, /sellbasket) to open your sell basket directly from anywhere.
Browsing
The shop is split into categories:
- Dyes & Flowers
- Miscellaneous
- Potions & Arrows
- Redstone
- Mob Drops
- Food
- Decoration
- Building Blocks
- Enchantments
- VortexXtra
- Ores & Minerals
- Farming
Click a category to browse its items, each one shows its current buy and sell price. Click an item to open the purchase screen.
Buying a VortexXtra item? Make sure you've unlocked its recipe in the VortexXtra Guide first, if you buy something you haven't unlocked yet, it'll just drop on the ground instead of going into your inventory.
Buying
The purchase screen lets you adjust quantity in small or large batches, or flip to stack mode to buy in full stacks at once. Once you've picked your amount, confirming completes the purchase immediately.
Selling
Open /sellgui, drop in whatever you want to sell, and close the menu, everything placed in gets sold and the total is deposited to your balance automatically.
Not everything can be sold here, only items the shop actually recognizes. Anything it doesn't accept just gets handed right back to you when you close the menu.
Prices Move
Buying and selling here isn't fixed-price, prices shift with activity:
- Buying an item pushes its buy price up.
- Selling an item pushes its sell price down.
- Buy and sell prices move independently, buying doesn't affect the sell price and vice versa.
- Left alone, prices slowly drift back toward their base value over time.
You'll see this reflected as a color on the price itself, green means it's close to normal, shifting through yellow and gold as it moves further from base, and red when it's swung the most. No need to do math, just watch the color.
Sales
Keep an eye out for sale banners on shop categories, when a discount is active, you'll see the percentage off right on the category icon, applied automatically at checkout.
