Demonic Token

The dark counterpart to the Angel Token, earned the exact same way, through blood and sacrifice, not purchased or found.

How to Get One

This is earned through the Demonic Ritual, one of the two Sacrifice Rituals.

1. Place a chest and clear a full 5x5x5 area of air around it.
2. Stock the chest with exactly:

- 64x Bedrock

- 32x Netherite Ingots

- 16x Nether Stars

- 8x Wither Skeleton Skulls

- 1x Eternal Steak

- 1x Sculk Catalyst

1. Lure a Goat to stand over the chest.
2. Kill it.

Get the contents or the clearance wrong and nothing happens, your items stay safe in the chest.

What Happens

Once triggered, the chest and its contents disappear and the ritual begins:

• Items arrange into a pentagon layout and orbit the summoning point, spinning tighter and faster as it builds.
• A pentagram burns into the ground beneath you.
• The ground nearby transforms into magma and netherrack, spreading outward.
• Three bolts of lightning strike around the ritual site (visual only, no real damage from them).
• Three themed hostile mobs spawn and come after you: an armored wither skeleton wielding a fire-aspect sword, a zombified piglin, and a blaze.
• Once the effects finish, the ground reverts back to normal, and your Demonic Token drops.

Come prepared, the mobs here hit just as hard as their Archangel counterparts.

What It's Used For

The Demonic Token is a key ingredient in crafting Satanic Essence, made at the standard Ritual Crafting method alongside Seraphic Essence, an Eternal Steak, a Void Ascended Pearl (Stable), and a stack of Boosted Uranium.

Satanic Essence feeds directly into the Smithing Table upgrade path for The Satanic Collection, the very top of VortexXtra's gear progression.

A Few Notes

• Only one Demonic Token drops per successful ritual.
• There's no level requirement to trigger the ritual, only the exact items and the kill matter.
• Demonic Tokens also show up as a burn-sink in an unrelated joke recipe over in VortexSpirits, that's unrelated to their real purpose here, don't waste real tokens on it unless you're doing it for the bit.
